The whole cost, on paper, before the first slab is cut.
We measure the site, state which measurement the rate sits on, and write the full amount down before any work begins. If our estimate is wrong, that is our loss — not yours.

Design concepts
What we can build, and what it would cost.
Ideas to point at when you tell us what you want. Pick one, tell us your area, and we will price it on paper before anything starts.
These are design concepts, not photographs of jobs we have completed. Our own sites are in the Work section below, marked ONGOING.
Published rates
A rate without a measurement is only half a number.
The same flat has three different areas. Super built-up includes the lift, stairs and corridor. Built-up is your flat including its walls. Carpet is only what you can walk on. At one rate, those three produce totals that can differ by several lakh — so every rate below says which one it sits on.
Civil work, false ceiling, painting, wardrobes, kitchen and electricals, priced as one written number.
Measured on: BUILT-UP AREAFlooring, counters, staircases and cladding. Stone, adhesive, cutting, laying and mirror polish in one rate.
Measured on: AREA ACTUALLY LAIDFor a shop the real cost is the days it stays shut, so the completion date is written on the same sheet as the price.

Full home interior
This sheet is calculated from our published rates and the measurement you entered. The binding number is the one we write and sign after measuring the site — it is normally within this figure and never above the written maximum. GST is billed as applicable.
Inside the rate
Five costs that usually arrive later. Ours are already inside.
These five appear on almost every job and on almost no opening quotation. We do not add them on top of the rate — the rate is broken down into them. That is why the sheet above decomposes rather than accumulates.
Materials
Stone we lay, and what it costs laid.
Rates are per square foot of area actually laid, and include the stone, cutting, adhesive, laying and mirror polish. Bands move with the market — ask us for the day's rate before you decide.
Swatches are indicative renderings of the stone type, not photographs of a specific slab. Every natural slab differs — we show you the actual slab before it is cut.
Recent work
Jobs running right now, photographed this week.
The marked tiles are jobs currently on site — protective film, wiring and dust included. Material tiles are stone references, and are labelled as such.
How a job runs
Four steps, in this order, every time.
We measure
A site visit with a tape, not a phone estimate. We record which measurement we are using and write it on the sheet.
We write it down
One sheet: the total, the finish, the stone, the completion date and the written maximum. Signed before work starts.
We build
You see the actual slab before it is cut. No mid-job call about a cost that was never mentioned.
We hand over
Cleaned, polished and handed over on the written date. The final bill is the sheet you signed.
Where we work
Kolkata and the towns along the river.
We take work across these areas. If your town is not on the list, ask anyway — if it is a day's reach we will come and measure.

Questions
Is the rate on carpet, built-up or super built-up?
Home interiors are quoted on built-up area. Shop, office and café work is quoted on carpet area. Marble and stone work is quoted on the area actually laid — not the room's area. Each rate on this page states its basis beside it, and so does your written sheet.
What is the written maximum of +22%?
Site conditions occasionally change what a job needs — a slab that arrives cracked, a wall that is not plumb. The signed sheet carries a ceiling of 22% above the quoted figure, and we cannot bill above it. In practice most jobs finish at the quoted number.
Are the five extra items added on top?
No. They are already inside the per sq ft rate. The estimate sheet splits the rate into them so you can see they are accounted for — it never adds them to the total.
How long does a job take?
The completion date is written on the same sheet as the price, before work begins. A 2BHK interior typically runs 30–45 working days; stone-only work is usually a week or two, depending on area.
Do you take small jobs — one counter, one bathroom?
Yes. A kitchen platform, a staircase, one bathroom clad in marble — all quoted the same way, on the same sheet.
